I’m Farhang Tahmasebi, Associate Professor in Engineering and Architectural Design, and a photographer in my own time based in London. Farhang Photolog brings together my portrait and architectural photography, alongside notes on photography and the people and places that appear in my work.
Whether in the studio or on the street, under daylight or multiple strobes, people and the built environment are central to my photography. I aim to make images that speak to our lives and preserve something of our spatial experiences and fleeting encounters.
