At the Junction
When working from home, I occasionally take a break — not to smoke, but to retreat to a favourite spot overlooking a nearby junction. From this slightly elevated vantage point, I watch people going about their lives.
And when I notice paths crossing at the junction, and sense that my photography does not feel intrusive to the people in or beyond the frame, I raise the camera and take a few photographs. Now and then, these turn into brief sequences — three to six frames capturing the quiet dynamics of people passing one another.
